As many of you probably already know, Dark Eden Press closed it’s doors April 1; this owing to the
fact that Deb, the company publisher, is fighting cancer.
As an author, I consider myself fortunate to have been published by Dark Eden. I've had a great
experience there, with the help of Deb; company co-owner, the EIC Gretchen Neeley; and everyone
else associated with the company.
A consummate professional, Deb never came to us with the details of her health concerns until it
became necessary to do so. Her strength and courage are matched only by her kindness and
talents; I have faith that, someday soon, she'll be able to put this chapter of her life behind her and
return to her rightful place in the literary world.
My thoughts and prayers are with Deb as she faces the fight of her life. May the angels watch over
her and keep her and those close to her.
